1 cup white sugar

1 cup boiling water

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon concentrated maple flavoring

Mix the sugars with the boiling water until the sugar dissolves. Add the maple flavoring. To make thicker syrup, boil the mixture for a couple of minutes or add a couple of tablespoons of corn syrup.

1 can tomato soup

3/4 cup white vinegar

1 tsp. dry mustard

1 tbs chopped onion

1 tbs. Salt

1 cup salad oil

1 tsp horse radish

1 clove garlic, finely chopped

dash of paprika

Shake well and refrigerate. Shake each time before serving

1 cup prepared mustard

1 cup white vinegar

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 1/2 tsp. chili powder

1 1/2 cups ketchup

1/2 cup white sugar

1 tsp. black pepper

1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Store in a covered container in the refrigerator

1 tsp. ground cumin

2 tsp. garlic powder

1 tsp. pepper

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 cup cornmeal

2 tsp. onion powder

2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed

1 tsp. salt

These are just some of the suggested spices. This mix can be seasoned to your taste. You may like marjoram, thyme, poultry seasoning, paprika, celery seed. To Use: Place moist chicken pieces, a few at a time, in a bag. Shake to coat. Arrange skin side up on a lightly oiled or non-stick pan. Bake uncovered in a 375° oven for 40 to 50 minutes until crisp

4 oz or 1/2 cup cream Cheese

1 tsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring

1 1/2 cups icing sugar

Cream well and use on cakes or cinnamon buns, or whatever!

2 tsp. salt

2 tsp. dried parsley

1 tsp. pepper

2 tsp. Accent meat tenderizer

1 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. onion powder

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup buttermilk

Store in refrigerator in a covered container. I use a large mayonnaise jar or a canning jar.

1 can (15 oz) sweetened condensed milk

3 1/2 cups confection sugar

20 drops red food coloring

6 cups shredded coconut

1 pkg. strawberry jelly powder

save a 2nd pkg. of jelly powder for later

Mix all ingredients. Take a teaspoon of mixture and roll into the shape of a strawberry. Roll each one onto strawberry powder (2nd package). If desired, decorate with plastic leaves inserted at the top or use green icing to form leaves.

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

2 tbs. onion, finely chopped

1 tbs. vinegar

1/8 tsp. black pepper

1/8 tsp. red pepper

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup blue cheese crumbled

1 clove garlic pressed

1 tbs. lemon juice

1/8 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients and chill. Makes 2 1/4 cups
